Expanesthetics returns this month to sponsor and exhibit at the 54th Clinical Conference in Pediatric Anesthesiology in Anaheim, California. Because inhalation anesthesia plays a particularly important role in the pediatric setting, Expanesthetics is actively seeking to develop a new and improved inhalation general anesthetic to address the unique challenges in pediatric anesthesia. Expanesthetics' CEO, Mark Holman, feels that the feedback received from pediatric clinicians at this event make it a very important piece of the company’s strategy to serve all segments of the anesthesia community.

Expanesthetics Exhibits at PGA 2015 in New York

Expanesthetics exhibited this month at the PostGraduate Assembly in Anesthesiology in New York, sponsored by the New York State Society of Anesthesiologists. Following on the success of a pilot survey conducted at this year's ASA conference, Expanesthetics conducted a follow-on survey with attendees of the PGA conference to gather opinions around the future of inhalation anesthesia and what characteristics are desirable in a new inhalation anesthetic. Expanesthetics Exhibits at American Society of Anesthesiologists 2015 Annual Conference

Expanesthetics exhibited at the American Society of Anesthesiologists 2015 Annual Conference. Working closely with its newly hired CMO, Expanesthetics conducted a survey of practicing anesthesiologists to help understand current opinions around inhalation anesthesia, and specifically focused on understanding the potential improvements that clinicians most value. Expanesthetics Hires Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Scott MacKinnon

Expanesthetics strengthens its team with the recent hire of a part-time Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Scott MacKinnon is a former practicing cardiac anesthesiologist from Yale with over 20 years of experience, and will primarily be focusing on refining Expanesthetics' value proposition and assisting in the development of preclinical and clinical study design. Expanesthetics Sponsors 53rd Annual Pediatric Clinical Anesthesia Conference

To help move forward research into its lead agent for possible pediatric induction use, Expanesthetics helped sponsor a gathering of pediatric anesthesia clinicians at the 53rd Clinical Conference in Pediatric Anesthesiology in Anaheim put on by the Pediatric Anesthesiology Foundation and Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Some clinicians took part in an opinion survey to help Expanesthetics understand the potential positive clinical impact of its leading potential pediatric-use agent.
